Men’s Track & Field

Adam Beach is a freshman on the Twins track and field team. He graduated from Red Hook High School last year and is currently in the psychology program here at Columbia-Greene Community College. Beach transferred here after spending the fall semester at SUNY Oswego. He has become one of the top track athletes in the region since joining the team. His main race is the 800-meters, but you can find him competing in the 400-meters and the 1500-meters throughout the season. In the 800-meters, Beach just recently ran a time of 2:04.38 to finish in fourth place overall at the Jim Sheehan Memorial Invitational. This time was good enough to qualify him for the NJCAA Division III National meet in May. Earlier in the season, he placed well at the St Joseph’s Spring Opener. In the 800-meters, Beach ran a 2:14 in the cold wind to finish in second place overall. Then in the 1500-meters he finished in third place overall with a time of 4:40. Beach has been an exciting athlete to watch this season. Below are some fun facts about Adam Beach.
