Twins Basketball Welcomes Newest Additions

Twins Basketball Welcomes Newest Additions

The Twins women's basketball team gathered to welcome four recruits to the team.  All four recruits were recognized as they signed their letter of intent to play basketball for the Twins.

A letter of intent is a document that is signed with an NJCAA member college that formally signifies a student-athlete's commitment to participating in intercollegiate athletics. Once signed, the recruiting process becomes finalized and the student-athletes become official members of the newest incoming athletic class!

An important transitional step from high school to college athletics, the soon-to-be college athletes excitedly signed their letters of intent in front of supporting family, friends, college representatives, and even their high school coaches, to show their commitment to Twins Athletics.

Head coach, Jayme Bates, talked about the excitement surrounding this Twins team. This is just the third year since the women's basketball program was reinstated at Columbia-Greene Community College. He hopes to build off the success they had last season and continue to work on the young program.
