For the first time since 2005 a Twins athlete has been named an All-American. Sophomore women's basketball player Tanisha Edge receives the honors after a dominant season with the Twins. She led the region in points per game with 22.7 which also ranks her seventh in Division III. She also led the region in three-point percentage as well at 42.3%. This ranks her fifth in all of Division III. Edge also had 130 steals this past season which rank her fourth in Division III. This success led her to reaching a milestone of 1,000 career points as a Twin. She is the first Twin to reach that milestone. She proved herself to be one of the best players in the nation last season. With a team to back her up, Edge led the Twins to the Region III Championships. For all her achievements this past season, Edge was named an NJCAA Second Team All-American. Below is a link to the full list of all-American teams.
