2017-18 Women’s Basketball Inducted into Hall of Fame

The women's basketball was recently honored at the President's Mid-Semester Fest.  They were being honored for their achievements this past season.  The team and coaches met with Columbia-Greene Community College President James Campion.  Team captain, Tanisha Edge, presented the Region III Division III Runners-up plaque to President Campion on behalf of the team.  Shortly after receiving the award from the team, President Campion had a surprise announcement for the team.  He announced that the team is being inducted into the Columbia-Greene Community College athletic hall of fame.  He then presented them with the plaque that will be put up next to all the other names in the hall of fame. This plaque lists all the names of the players and coaches on the team along with their records and standings from this past season.  This plaque will be put up next to the other hall of fame members.  The honor comes only about two weeks after the team played its final game of the season.  This is the fastest that a team or individual has been inducted into the Columbia-Greene Community College hall of fame.  You can view the plaque with the rest of the hall of fame members on the wall next to Columbia-Greene's cafeteria.
