Twins Win Five in a Row

The Twins took on SUNY Broome Tuesday looking to get their fifth win in a row.  They caught fire early in the game scoring 23 points in the first quarter.  They would go into halftime with 45 points and a commanding lead. The Twins cruised to victory with another strong second half.  They get the win by a final score of 79 – 30.  Sophomore Tanisha Edge and Freshman Anyla Harper led the way for the Twins.  Edge scored 17 points and had four rebounds, five assists, and six steals.  Harper also scored 17 points and had five rebounds and three assists.  Contributing strong numbers off the bench for the Twins was Selena Jones.   Jones scored 14 points shooting over 65% from the field and grabbed seven rebounds.  The Twins will look to keep the streak alive on the upcoming road trip.  The Twins will travel to Cayuga Community College to take on the Spartans (3-1).  The women's game will start at 1 pm and the men's game starts at 3 pm.
