The Lead: Twins used a five run third inning en route to a 10-2 win over Finger Lakes in the opening game of the doubleheader.
How It Happened:

The Twins took an early lead scoring two runs in the first inning setting the tone for the game.

The second inning the Twins brought the heat starting with a two run double hit by Holly Kleinmeier. Jaclyn Gehring, Claire Filak and Sydney Spohler each drove in RBI's for the Twins advancing the score to 7-2, Twins.

Lakers then answered back brining in two runs in the third, but the Twins held them scoreless for the next three innings.

The Twins only needed 6 innings to capture the win over the Lakers ending the game 10-2, Twins.

Batting contributors for the Twins were Holly Kleinmeier with a 2B hit, Baylee Cox with two RBI's, Kaylee Hoffman, Justine Albin, Holly Kleinmeier (3), Jaclyn Gehring, Claire Filak and Sydney Spohler all drove in RBI's for the Twins.

The Lead: Claire Filak allowed just four runs as the Twins swept the Lakers with a 17-4 win in game two.
How It Happened:

The Twins wasted no time putting runs on the board as they dominated the first inning, notching 5 runs in to place the Twins ahead 5-0.

Claire Filak kept the Lakers from scoring until they answered back in the third and fourth innings racking up 4 runs.

The Twins continued to fire on all cylinders at the plate in the fourth and fifth innings, picking up a total of 8 more runs, pushing ahead from the Lakers.

Claire Filak held the game to only five innings with five strikeouts, giving up just four runs. Filak won game two for the Twins finishing 17-4, Twins.
