Twins Heat Up in First Outdoor Meet

The Twins track & field teams traveled to Long Island over the weekend to take on their first outdoor meet of the season at St. Joseph's College.  Women's track was represented by Sabra Simon, who came in third place in her heat and 29th place overall in the women's 100 meters.  Simon ran a time of 16.29 seconds tying her own 100 meter time from her first meet.  Tyler Cook compete in the 100 meters, 200 meters, and high jump.  Tyler was 6th in his heat and 29th overall in the men's 100 meters with a time of 13.05 seconds.  He later improved his time from the previous meet at Utica College in the 200 meters, running 26.78 seconds.  This was good enough for 35th place overall in the men's 200 meters.  Tyler's highest place came in the high jump though as he jumped 5 feet six inches putting him in seventh place overall.  The Twins will travel again April 1st to Central Connecticut State University to compete in the Blue Devil Invitational.  Link to the full results is listed below.
