Brunner-Brown Earns Conference and Regional Honors
Hudson, N.Y. - The Mountain Valley Conference and NJCAA Region III released the all-conference basketball teams this past week. Making it onto the third team all-conference as well as third team all-region was our very own Jihadu Brunner-Brown. He finished the season ranked sixth in the region and second in the conference in points per game with 19.9 points per game. Brunner-Brown also led the Twins in the rebounding category with 6.7 rebounds per game. This was good enough for 14th in the conference. The sophomore also finished the season ranked 14th in three-point percentage at 37.6%. Brunner-Brown reached a double-double five times. That's more than any other Twins player this season. He scored more than 25 points in seven games this season. Perhaps his best performance came at North Country Community College. The sophomore took over the game shooting 54% from the floor and 67% from beyond the arc. He finished with a season high 40 points with seven rebounds, four assists, and three steals.
