Men Drop Game to High Ranked Opponent

The men's basketball team lost at Sullivan County Community College last night.  The Sullivan County Generals came into this game ranked #7 in the National Junior College Athletic Association Division III.  After being down by 14 points at the half, the Twins cut the lead down to four during the second half, but ultimately fell to the Generals 85 – 53.  The Twins had 19 turnovers, as they struggled on offense.  Gary Buxton was the leading scorer for Columbia-Greene, scoring nine points and grabbing three rebounds.  Freshman Kolby Phillips scored seven points and had four assists.  Michael Henry and Aaron Sanders both contributed seven points.  Josiah McCall scored six points and had three assists.  The men's team will be back in action at home Friday at the Goldberg Classic as they compete against Word of Life Bible Institute at 2pm.
