Phillip Proper. Phi Theta Kappa honors
Proper Receives Phi Theta Kappa Honors

Sophomore baseball player Phillip Proper was recently recognized by the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.  He met with representatives of Phi Theta Kappa and other honorees last week in Albany to be recognized.  Membership into Phi Theta Kappa is based on academic achievement and leadership inside and outside the classroom.  Proper has been great academically throughout his time at Columbia-Greene Community College.  He has made Dean's List every semester that he has attended and is looking to finish his last semester by making that list again.  Proper was named to the NJCAA Region III All-Academic All-Region list last season.  He was also a big part of the Twins Baseball team recieving an honorable mention on the NJCAA's Academic Teams of the Year for their academic success last season.  His great academics combined with his determination and leadership on the baseball field made Proper a great candidate for this honor.
