Softball Sophomores

Hudson, N.Y. – Due to the inclement weather the Twins Softball Sophomore Day was canceled Sunday, May 12th. However, we would like to recognize and congratulate the team's five sophomores; Baylee Cox, Justine Albin, Jaclyn Gehring, Kaylee Hoffman and Sydney Sophler.   

Baylee Cox concluded her sophomore year with a .306 batting average and a .403 slugging percentage. Cox had seventy-two at bats in twenty-two games played with twenty-six runs, twenty-two hits, two doubles, one triple and one home run.  

Justine Albin finished her sophomore season with seventy-two at bats in twenty-two games played, with eighteen runs, twenty-five hits, five doubles, one triple and two homeruns. Albin has a .347 batting average with a .528 slugging percentage.   

Jaclyn Gehring had seventy at bats in the twenty-two games played. Gehring ended the season with twelve runs, nineteen hits, three doubles and two homeruns. Jaclyn Gehring finished with a .271 batting average and a .400 slugging percentage.

Kaylee Hoffman played in twenty-two games with seventy-three at bats for the Twins. Hoffman drove in twenty-one runs, twenty-seven hits, six doubles and three homeruns. Kaylee Hoffman has a batting average of .370 and slugging percentage of .575. With eighty-seven innings pitched she concluded her sophomore season with fifty-three strikeouts and thirty-one walks.

Sydney Spohler concluded her sophomore year with fifty-four at bats in twenty-two games played. Spohler has a batting average of .278 and slugging percentage of .315 which includes five runs, fifteen hits, and two doubles.
